Workin', workin', workin' on my cognitive frame.

Also my embouchure. Trying to loosen up, but with a stronger air stream. I tend to tighten up.

What if you approached the mouthpiece like a flute, loosely? Or like you would the double reed on the end of a bassoon's bocal?

@sumisu3 I had tried to record my own French Horn playing, but saggy #embouchure and years out of practice were frustrating. So were sample libraries. Audio Modelling is an Italian software development co that makes physically modelled instruments that sound really, really good. They are pricey so I only ever bought the Solo Horn set (F & Bb French Horns, Euphonium and Tuba). I'd love all the tools, but it's $pendy and a limited palette of sounds is good for creativity.

I was amazed that I could still read music and remembered most of the fingerings. #Embouchure and #pitch are a challenge, but I'm now better than I was in high school. My biggest frustration is #rhythm. It used to come so naturally but I've completely lost it. I'll have to #practice this tapping method someplace where I won't drive everyone crazy!
