I have decided on a couple - very simple star tattoos on his hands, to symbolize his separation from his family that he deeply regrets.
On the fence about a neck tattoo - I think he'd want one, but I'm not sure of what....a joking little "hands here" dotted line across his throat was a contender tbh LMAO
I feel like he'd want sleeves....but he'd be picky....as am I!!! THE INDECISION...

Some character dynamic shenanigans...The connections between Travis and Matteo and their messy history, contrasted with the sheer and overwhelming yearning Ellis and Matteo feel, limited and silenced by their inability to communicate...or feel like it's something either deserve.

all of my characters never know what the fuck is going on or why things happen how they do or how or why they feel one way or another because like, neither do I, man, what the fuck!!!
my characters are monsters they solve supernatural crimes they deal with the supernatural and weird.
and they would still go out in the woods see bigfoots entire asscheeks out and just stand there like this

AU doodles where Ellis is a sort of shapeshifting giant who unintentionally saves Matteo from a pack of bandits/goblins.
When the favor is returned by Matteo taking down one Ellis doesn't see, Ellis ends up begrudgingly taking him to his big huge cabin to take care of both their wounds...

Ellis gets really...*really* into soap opera dramas and (bad) crime shows...it's a guilty pleasure. He hate-watches them, but can't deny that he's drawn to how weird they are.
Matteo by contrast has been writing self-insert fics since high school and has a decent following on places like tumblr/ao3, but nobody knows who he Actually Is and he wants to keep it that way LMAO

Matteo loves when Ellis shows his goofy/silly side bc usually he is so stoic and grumpy...Matteo is lucky to get close enough to see that side of him, and he doesn't take it for granted.

So I've been fiddling a lot with Matteo's morphology and monster form somewhat recently and it occurred to me that he could have a winter morph since his concept was originally weasel based >:)c I just think it's cute--
His hair slowly turns white when he's unglamoured, during the winter months. He hates it bc his facial hair looks even more scruffy and weird to him, though, so he tends to shave u_u
