  9. Just skimmed this paper from the Jaramillo group: doi.org/10.1021/jacs.1c06212

    Their conclusion: "imidazolium-containing ionomers intrinsically promote HER on Ag under CO2R conditions and have no measurable effect on CO2R to CO kinetics in contrast to expectations based on prior literature.”

    Many papers use Sustainion™ membrane, seem to assume imidazolium must be present at cathode interface for good Faradaic yields.

    So do we not need Sustainion™?
