I've seen Zerith-Var and Zhakarii as a couple for a while now, whether the game supports it or not. There are enough hints left dangling in his questline and dialogue, for one thing. For another, he clearly would have a type, considering how similar Zhakarii and his ex unintentionally ended up being! (Yes, I made Zhakarii with effectively this look back during the release of the Elsweyr chapter.) Not to mention, they just look fitting next to each other.
So when I saw that Vipercrown( https://vipercrown.com/ ) does couples art and doesn't mind working with existing characters, I had to jump on it, and she made this lovely image of them!
For a bit more background: After they dealt with the threat of the rajaska and Ravith-morna, Zhakarii was eventually able to acquire the deed to an abandoned adeptorium in southern Elseweyr, on Zhan Khaj Crest. The two of them restored it as best they could, with an eye towards perhaps reforging the Order of the Hidden Moon that Zerith once belonged to. It eventually became even more than that; for these two khajiit, it also became a home.

Here's another shot of my dark scholar Zhakarii, this time from Ratte( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/ratte/ ). In this one she's showing off some of her combat skills.
The blue beam is her primary offensive spell, often seen in a corrupted form from Hermaeus Mora's faithful; a blast of pure magicka, focused with psijiic techniques into a coherent beam.
Her necromancer skills are in evidence too, in the form of the bone armor on her back that uses abjuration to ward off blows, and draws in distant enemies trying to evade her beam.
The only thing missing is her Namira-derived shadow magic that she gained access to through her partial dro-m'athra transformation. With that, she can instinctually call in minions from the Dark Behind the World, cloak herself in shadow to remain unseen, or simply awaken the shadows in nearby foes' minds to frighten them into inaction.
She has also learned over time how to use it to enhance other spells. One common trick she uses, which was inspired by an encounter with one of Mora's Arcanists, is to momentarily call forth tentacles of shadow and infuse them with a psijiic enchantment of weakness. This causes those they strike to be more vulnerable to her attacks for a short while, and is much more reliable than attempting to apply said enchantment directly to her opponent.
Lastly, when magic alone won't do, she has her trusty battleaxe at hand to cleave down anything in her way. Claimed from a dro-m'athra opponent in years past, she find it surprisingly comfortable and easy to use, as if her changed nature allowed it to bond with her somehow.

CW: Naked female khajiit under the moons
An art commission I got from https://www.furaffinity.net/user/saf - this one is from the backstory of my ESO khajiit necromancer Zhakarii.
After an encounter with an Oblivion portal to Namiira's realm in the Reach, she was falling to the Bent Dance and transforming into a dro-m'athra. As a last resort to save herself, she improvised a ritual using psijiic and necromantic magics to stop it, using necromantic magics to protect her soul and psijiic techniques to fortify her body, with the whole thing empowered by the gaze of Jone and Jode at their fullest. For the final component, she etched herself with protective magical psijiic tattoos meant to stabilize her very existence, as well as to ward off Namiira and the drums of Lorkhaj.
Through the power of the Enantiomorph, the Fifth Walking Way of the psijiics, it worked! Though it didn't reverse what had already been done, it did stop it mid-process, and blocked out any further influence from the Great Dark Behind the World. The power of one of the Walking Ways was enough, but it blinded the moons to any further repeats of this process, preventing such a trick from ever being used again.
End result is she remained mostly herself, but with the ability to wield shadow magic and dro-m'athra soulfire. She also gained the ability to use the lunar lattice to travel between places of power, as well as resurrect herself much like the rumored Vestige that fought Molag Bal(since she isn't my canon Vestige).
