"…die #Zentralisierung der #Schulen in #Dänemark [war] entscheidend … Ab 2007 wurden zahlreiche Kommunen fusioniert. In der Folge wurden große, zentrale Schulzentren gebildet, viele kleine Schulen mussten schließen. Damit wurde der Schulweg für viele #Jugendliche länger. Im Durchschnitt verdoppelte sich der Weg von zu Hause ins Klassenzimmer, errechnete die #DTU. Parallel dazu verlor das #Fahrrad an Attraktivität – offenbar wegen des weiten Schulwegs stiegen viele vom Fahrrad in den #Bus oder das #Elterntaxi um.

Optimising energy reserves is getting more relevant for future power systems. Many electrical loads could participate contributing to increase the offer of energy reserves. Collaborating with #DTU Sustain researchers we have assessed the participation of wastewater treatment plants (now trying to make them work as water resource recovery facilities) in energy reserves markets. Ist die #DTU bei #Solar-#Wechselrichtern eigentlich wirklich auf dem Weg nach draußen? Man scheint keine neuen Modelle mehr ohne WLAN (und gleichzeitig mit fehlender DTU) zu bekommen und ist dann auf die Hersteller-Apps und -Clouds angewiesen, statt das selbst mit einem DTU-Empfänger auslesen und protokollieren zu können. Das ist doch ein ziemlich beschissener Ausblick? #PV #BKW

"Eigentlich" wollte ich dann nur die Stromzufuhr für die Hoymiles #DTU steuern.
Es wurde zum #RabbitHole in dem ich #Tasmota, #Zigbee und #HomeAssistant fand.
Ein paar 100€ und etliche Stunden später weiß ich nun wie wenig die Kühl-Gefrier-Kombination von 2009 verbraucht und dass mich eine Kanne Tee morgens etwa 0,04€ kostet.
Wasch- und Spülmaschine laufen jetzt auch eher am Nachmittag ...

Ytringsfriheden har trange kår på DTU, mener en gruppe studerende og ansatte, der forsøger at oplyse om Israels krig mod Gaza. Universitetet har tidligere taget aktiv stilling mod Ruslands krig i Ukraine. Men når aktivister forsøger at oplyse om Israels krig i Gaza, bliver de mødt af modstand fra DTU's ledelse.

I’m an immunologist from #Denmark, with a PhD from #NIH and #UniversityofCambridge where I used #CRISPR screens to dissect #Tcell integrin activation.
Now I’m a postdoc at #TechnicalUniversityofDenmark (#DTU ). My interest currently revolves around using/developing novel CRISPR tools for T cell editing as well as using CRISPR to identify novel #immunotherapeutic targets.
Also I love my 2 year old son and my wife, and have a passion for sailing and biotech innovation!

ATEL er nok det vildeste forskningsprojekt jeg har været med til. Det er lykkes os på empirisk grundlag at beskrive indskolingselevers typiske skriveudvikling på en række dimensioner OG at automatisere analysen, så vi kan give lærere viden om hvor i processen deres elever befinder sig, så vi kan give forslag til hvad de skal undervise i.
