I definitely see why people like Magick Archer as a vocation in #DragonsDogma2 because there are few things as fun as letting loose a fully charged Ricochet Hunter blast inside a cave and then realizing the ambush that snuck in behind you was annihilated without you even noticing they were there.

If you, like me, gave up on Dragon's Dogma 2 because of the QOL annoyances, I just loaded it up to reacquaint myself ahead of the DLC coming out in three weeks and it looks like the devs did a ton of quality-of-life changes.
Might be good to give it another shot.

Finally managed to map the new Skill 5 and 6 to the back paddles. It was WAY too onerous considering this is an OFFICIAL FECKIN CONTROLLER!
I will write a tutorial when I am a little more awake. :moogle_sleep: -

Serious progress on #DragonsDogma2 #gaming this weekend. Got to level 29 and I've been clearing out fog of war everywhere around the capital, doing every sidequest I can get my hand on, literally everything I can do to ignore heading to the coronation.
It took me awhile to get used to the playstyle, but I am quite liking Mystic Spearhand. Got it to rank 6 so far. All other vocations at rank 4-5, I'll swap back and continue those eventually. -

Just ran a quick test on #steamdeck
*It runs and has preset settings for deck
*I noticed a tiny bit of judder in Vernworth but otherwise...solid 30fps?
*Graphic settings make it look like DDDA which is fine by me.
*PC is obviously better but this is good enough for me to get my dogma in the hospital!
*I've seen games that have been verified by Valve perform worse than this tbh. -
