Is it just my impression that HMR this year has fewer "big names" than before?
Maybe it's with the new mountain race in Turkey that riders distribute better (or top riders chose that one)? A lot of local (Berlin) people are also doing Trans Balkan Race next week. Might also play into it that many went there instead of HMR... -

Trotz Hürden (Nahverkehr Anschluss in #Offenburg wartete keine Minute) Live- #dotwatching praktizieren können.
Weil K dann doch irgendwie hoch wollte ("wenn man schon mal da ist") und wegen des #dbregio malheurs wurden es dann 120km / 1.200Hm 🙈

The way he ties together the route, the riders, the weather, the scenery and its history is extraordinary. Way above the usual competition facts and regurgitating instagram posts. Makes me want to drop everything, buy a hardtail and travel to #Scotland. -

@pete Oh, so Ruby really is going to do that on a gravel bike. Mad respect.
Still rooting for Nicolette, she has DIY bags similarly coloured to mine. 😀 Also pretty lightweight setup.
So I guess both are either going to be really fast, or fail spectacularly.
