  1. #Google opposes #siteblocking in #Europe, arguing it causes significant harm and should not target #DNSresolvers, #VPNs, or #sharedIPs. The company believes #blocking is ineffective, disproportionate, and risks targeting legitimate services. 2. For a couple of days each year, #NetUK brings together the people who build, operate and support the UK’s internet.

I’ll be talking about Star Hands, @stardotlondon’s new Smart Hands service and our Founding 15 launch offer, Whisper, and chatting with DNS resolver operators about DROP.

If you’re at #NetUK3, come and say hello. The coffee’s usually pretty good too.

2/2 …fact, for some time we were lobbying a skilled programmer, someone, anyone, to implement a pick-two-random-#DNSResolvers-and-wait-for-a-consensus-result algorithm.

Our calls went virtually nowhere at the time.

Nice to know we think alike, here!

We don't use #clearnet. Our DNS requests (port 53) are redirected into Tor (port 5353 is the default for that, if memory serves). At the exit node we don't care what *anyone* sees, so long as they don't see our IPAddress.

    :)
