I may have scheduled too many interviews this week. Not sure my interviewing stamina is back where it needs to be yet.

Today I'm thinking of a former professor who told me a "good" PhD student would be so immersed in their work that if WWIII started, they wouldn't know. He was mocking the idea but I think he actually got this comment during his PhD.
It feels completely out of touch now and yet, to make it through my work today, I'm going to be doing some heavy suppression.
These mass shootings are relentless.
