Lightweight DEs like #i3, #JWM have low memory usage (<200MB) and fast boot. Full DEs like #GNOME, #Plasma use >500MB and slower boot but more features. #Windowmanagers alone tend to use less than full #DEs. #Displaymanagers have minor impact. #Wayland often uses slightly more memory. Experimental/niche DEs like #COSMIC have reasonable usage. Linux DEs are more lightweight than #Windows 10/11 which use >2GB memory, >32GB disk, and >50s boot time.

Hey online peeps, I am trying to find minimal resource intensive #WindowManagers and #DisplayManagers for my Mango Pi MQ-Pro. I have been surfing the web for awhile now.
Currently I am leaning towards FVMW 3 with Slim.
Are there other good options? I need something not CPU intensive. I am not too worried about ram as it does have a gig. The OS is Ubuntu Server 23.10
