I really, really love this talk. I've often tried things out with stuff like this, you know, like a desktop recollection of things, because, as a neurodivergent person, I'd have absolutely no idea where my day went and I couldn't figure that out even if my life depended on it.

I really wish we had something like that in the open-source space, and I feel like this is more of a compositor level thing from wayland perspective, but I really do hope someone builds something like that. Atleast the recall/lifestreams types thing. The smart clipboard.

I genuinely believe it will be useful in more ways than one, especially if done right/local-first/privacy-preserving. Afaict the smart clipboard doesn't even need extremely fancy features, just... better integration, and some attached metadata from the compositor (which I think compositors already hold on wayland)

I'm not particularly sold on the idea of the entire thing with ultra-wide monitors, but ig people would have that going for themselves for sure. I'm primarily a laptop user.
