The building next to today’s McDonald’s once housed the Communist Party — complete with a massive red star on the roof. After ’89 they didn’t remove it, just flopped it down so no one could see it.
I spotted it on the roof in 2015.Since 2019 you can visit this retired metal celebrity at DEPO2015.
