We often focus on external cybersecurity threats, but did you know a simple setting can boost your defenses? Here's why I recommend two accounts on your computer:

- Standard account (daily use): limit your online activities to this non-admin account. Most malware needs admin rights to install and wreak havoc.

- Administrator account: use this ONLY for software installs, system updates, and changes.

Key benefits:
- Hacker roadblock: most attacks won't gain the privileges needed to do real damage if you're operating on a standard account.

- Prevents accidental damage: reduces the risk of unintentionally messing up system settings.

- Increased control: clearly separates work or personal browsing from sensitive system tasks.
