"The US Department of Justice (DOJ) claims Google acts as a monopoly, illegally paying billions of dollars to Apple, Samsung, LG and others to make Google the default search engine on phones and computers.
The DOJ says this cuts other players, mainly Microsoft Bing and DuckDuckGo, out of the market.
Its anti-trust case was launched against the search engine giant in 2020"

Putting aside the question of what use breakable #encryption would be, what other services "communicate using virtually unbreakable encryption" (if they're doing their job properly)? Banking, insurance, health care, schools, etc. Who would benefit if these services had to use breakable encryption? The same corporate #Datafarmers they think they're regulating, as well as #IdentityThieves and other fraudsters.
