Umweltaktivist:innen des Widerstands-Kollektiv: Wir richten keine Appelle an die Politik- wir handeln selbst!

Protestaktionen gegen das, was Aktivist:innen ‚Klimakiller‘ nennen – also Konzerne und Events, die massiv zur Klimazerstörung beitragen gibt es immer wieder.

Unter dem Motto ‚Keine Party für Klimakiller‘ gab es zuletzt bundesweite Aktionen, zum Beispiel bei der Internationalen Automobil-Ausstellung und den Cruise Days in Hamburg wo im Hamburger Hafen Kreuzfahrten als romantisches Spektakel präsentiert werden– mit Lichtershows, Feuerwerk und Hunderttausenden Besucher:innen.

Hinter diesen Protesten steht unter anderem das Widerstands-Kollektiv – eine Gruppe, die sagt: Wir nehmen Demokratie selbst in die Hand und organisieren uns kollektiv.

Was treibt sie an, wie arbeiten sie – und was wollen sie politisch erreichen?

Für @RDL sprach ich mit Eika Jacob, Pressesprecherin des Widerstands-Kolllektivs und selbst Mutter von vier Kindern.

For #SchiffsSamstag here's #DiamondPrincess in #Naha on #Okinawa. Diamond is a Grand-class ship and she was the first ship we ever cruised on (our honeymoon) but this shot is ten years later on an anniversary #cruise.

It's #MeerMittwoch and on Monday it was the 20th birthday of Diamond Princess, the cruise ship we took our honeymoon on back in 2008. We had an inside cabin on that trip but when we returned to Asia to cruise on her again in 2018 for our tenth wedding anniversary we chose a balcony instead. There's nothing like being at sea with emptiness all the way to the horizon as the sun sets.

It's #SchiffsSamstag so here's the first #cruise ship we ever sailed on. This was from 2008 on our honeymoon, and this is Diamond Princess in Nha Trang, Vietnam. You can tell that we're on a tender boat heading ashore here. What you can't see is how much I'm sweating because Vietnam is so ridiculously humid.

#TravelPhotography from #OnThisDay in 2008. We had the blackest of clouds and the most ferocious of rainstorms at sea this day although this photo was taken before the storm rolled in. Despite that, it was so warm, so humid here as we were en route to Singapore after a couple of days in Vietnam.
