  56. CHCH TV in Hamilton has received approval from the #CRTC to permanently remove its transmitters in Sault Ste. Marie (CHCH-TV-5) and Sudbury (CHCH-TV-4), Ont., saying the analog transmitters are at end of life and few people receive over-the-air TV there.

    CHCH says it is losing money now, in part because of a 40% cut in Independent Local News Fund revenue caused by the inclusion of Global TV in that fund following Shaw's acquisition by Rogers.
