Only those with sufficient strength may pull them from the brick upon which roll 2d6 should 1 be rolled twice, the handle breaks off. Should 6 be rolled twice, the drawn axe is a magical axe of random quality. On all other rolls, a mundane axe is retrieved.

A round room 400ft in diameter carved of gray rock scored with intricate linear patterns. The centre of the room lies a pedestal and a crucible containing the dust of granite usually used to make tablets with.

Pouring at least 1 barrel of mercury mixed with the dust of 5 opals and 5 rubies onto the scored part of the ground causes the mercury to glow giant gray, and takes 5 minutes to cover the whole linear pattern...

A township center where an extravagantly sculpted gabbro fountain stands, depicting the entwining forms of numerous menacing serpents that spew mercury from all sides of the fountain within it.

Due to the temperature of the area, the mercury being spewed rapidly turns into vapor, spreading a noxious mist of debilitating poison.

Those not attuned to the poison of mercury may suffer severe poison damage upon breathing the vapors...
