Re-reading Barthes on the difference between authors & writers to come up with arguments #ContraAI🤖 There is a disposition of ‘author-ness’ in all of us, but it needs to be cultivated. If authors can no longer write (& thus no longer die), they will become ghosts of the writing machine that is AI.
