    So, a contractor I might hire told me she could stop by my home tomorrow afternoon. I said, “Sure, I’ll be here between 1 and 3:30 if that works.” She replied, “It would need to be after 5.”

    Am I the crazy one who thinks of “afternoon” as between noon and 5? Especially for business purposes? In my experience, after 5 falls into the evening category.
