The feeling of being alone in the cold mist at the Borberg churchyard, gazing at the ruins of the medieval church, imagining just how much life once thrived in this place, in this curtis – I can only describe it with a single adjective: MYSTICAL!
In this deeply contemplative mood, the Celts, Saxons and Franks, for whom this plateau was home, feel very close indeed...
