The Churchyard of St. John The Baptist's Church in Hope Bagot is managed as a conservation area and wildflower meadow.
In the shadow of the church, which is around 800 years old, you find yourself completely immersed in a mysterious atmosphere and a sense of reverent curiosity centred on the 7th-century Holy Spring and the yew tree, which is around 1,600 years old.
