Who needs a 3d printer when you have hot glue and a quarter's worth of foam board?
Old laptop hard drives are cheap, reliable storage when you don't need speed. If you're able to find one at the thrift store, old 3.5" floppy organizers can work for storing 2.5" drives in a pinch, too (if they're covered, remove the lid).
