She knows you all too well
To know when you lie
Yet here she is
Not saying word about it
Just pretending
Buying your lies
Again
Just like so many times before
She knows why you lie
And what those lies are covering up
Well were meant to be covering
Because she knows the truth
That she known almost moment it had started
She knew when she wasn’t your one and only
How there were someone else now
Getting the best version of you
The easygoing and charming
Always so thoughtful
Great gift giver
She knew that version of you all too well
After all it was the same one who made her falling in love with you
But all these years later
She had learned to know the true version of you
Unfortunately all too well
She knew now what lies underneath your charming smile
And the mask you wear
Also had learned which words would always be lies
That you mouth never stops saying
But as you leave
Go another work trip
She isn’t gonna sit around home waiting your you
Not this time
She is packing her bags
Leaving to start new life
Without you and your endless lies
When you come back home she is long gone
Because she knows you all too well
Knowing you will never chance
She forgave you the first time
But this time she won’t
She is done wasting her life with liar
She is leaving this all behind
Oh and she took the new job you said she shouldn’t
Because she couldn’t handle traveling like that not like you did
The job where she would be making more money than you
Curious how next evening after she told you about the job
You did came home smelling strange perfume
A scent she never used because it gave her headache
But your new coworker had worn last year company Christmas party
She had said yes to the job next day
Knowing that you would come home telling her
You had another business trip
She knew it meant actually just hotel by airport
Just like last time
But this time she chooses herself
Because she knows you all too well
Knowing you’re not worth even the tears
Instead she starts packing everything that means something to her
Taking with her as she has actual airplane to get on that airport
