The bitter clouds  

In my heart

There were some dreams

Kept in there as a secret

Hidden from the world

And safe

But I made mistake sharing those dreams

Because there were bitter clouds in the sky

That I did not see

Before it was too late

And they were pouring down rain on my dreams

To drown out my dreams

Before I had even chance to go after the dreams

Those dreams were left to drown

Into bitter rain

Left to die

Into bitterness of their jealousy

Surrounded by cruel words

Telling me how my dreams will never be real

And I’m not gonna lie

There were years that I let the bitter rain win

Leaving those dreams be drown and die  

Yes I abandoned my own dreams

Because of the bitter clouds

I regret it now

But I was younger and naïve

Back then

And with everything else going on in my life at the time

I no longer had the strength

For fight for my dreams

So left them behind

But in my heart

Something did remain

That never fully let go and stopped

So one day I did go back

And picked up my ruined dreams

Looked what was left of them

That was the day I rebuild my dreams 

From the ones bitter clouds had destroyed

They weren’t precisely the same dreams

But I wasn’t anymore same either

So I choose to rebuild new dreams

From my old ones

And this time when the bitter clouds will come

I will be ready

And the bitter rain won’t stop me

I let it wash over me

But it won’t leave my dreams drowning

Because I won’t let it destroy anything ever again

I have learned my lesson

Only I need to believe in my dreams

No one else

Here I am chasing my dreams

Giving my all making these dream come true

And leaving the bitter clouds behind me
