it's #WeevilWednesday, here's _Acanthoscelidius acephalus_ which I find on evening primrose. I'm obsessed with how their faces look like "^|^" from a certain angle when they have their heads tucked in!!

(Found on evening primrose, probably _Acanthoscelidius acephalus_, one of the minute seed weevils, subfamily Ceutorhynchinae. As soon as you disturb the plant they have the annoying habit of waddling to the tip of the nearest leaf and jumping with surprising strength off into the void.)
