Are you attending #cellbio2023? Don't want to spend too much money on greasy breakfasts and snacks near the conference center? Does your hotel have a fridge? May I suggest picking up some food from a local grocery store?

The Whole Foods is ~1.5 mi away a bit further than some of the other conference centers. By Weds am, your pocketbook and tummy will appreciate the effort.

Well, this smart-ass almost left her #CellBio2023
poster in the bathroom at home.

Why was it in the bathroom--I have no clue.

How did I notice it? I realized I have not brushed my hair yet today and figured I should before catching a plane.

Have you printed your poster for #CellBio2023 yet? If not, can I recommend a sliceable format? Arrange your data in columns and then slice your poster down to a size that you can stick in your suitcase.

Do you think you might want to run a lab?

I highly recommend the EMBO Lab Leadership workshops which are being held Sunday-Tuesday morning.

I attended these years ago and have used many of the techniques in running my own lab and in assisting junior colleague overcome some leadership challenges.
