МНЕ ПОДАРИЛИ CD С АЛЬБОМОМ ЛИНКИНА :neocat_heart:
Из девайсов с дисковым приводом дома только плеер от LG (щас заряжается) и овер-15-летний комп. Захотел сделать CDRip (мой первый!), запустил Alpine на этом компе, рипнул на флешку через cdparanoia. Песец привод громкий при чтении диска, конечно :neocat_googly_shocked:
Потом ещё просто послушал диск на этом же компе. Правда, всё-таки загрузился в винду (там XP стоит :neocat_floof_happy:). Потому что live usb альпина работал медленно (по понятным причинам), и я решил не ждать установки плеера.
Понравилось, как выглядит tty линуха на мерцающем дисплее 4:3. Вот прям для него создан. Прекрасно :neocat_floof_happy:
Хочу только им и пользоваться (на самом деле нет, глаза мне ещё нужны).
Вот когда бы я иначе взял в руки диск или запустил этот ПК

Other half asked me to rip some CD's today.
1) I had to find the external CD/DVD drive
2) I had to download software to do this -
Finally found a CD ripper for Linux – Whipper – with the goal of creating accurate copies, rather than doing it fast.
It's a command line tool, which may sound daunting, but after running a few commands to calibrate the settings to your CD-ROM, it's as easy as typing "whipper cd rip" to rip to FLAC with metadata from MusicBrainz. Very nice!

My first #CD drive since 15 years or so.
It was about time to rip all my CDs I found in a box during an attic cleanup.Using now whipper under #NixOS to rip and convert everything to #FLAC
Next up: cleaning up my old fileserver, setting up @funkwhale and connect all the things to it...

Vous avez besoin d'extraire un CD audio ? Utilisez fre:ac (https://www.freac.org/) 👍
Gratuit et open-source, il est multiplateforme (#Windows, #Mac, #Linux, #FreeBSD...) et activement maintenu ! Il supporte bien entendu nativement de nombreux formats : MP3, AAC, OGG, etc.
Sous Windows, n'utilisez plus CDex, car son code source a été verrouillé et l'installateur contient un adware... Quant à Audiograbber, il n'est plus développé depuis des années.
