2022-23 issue of The #CastleStudiesGroup Journal arrives in the post. As ever, a most substantial volume, beautifully illustrated
& packed with interesting articles. Membership is a snip at £25 pa. I hadn’t heard that Anthony Emery died last summer. As his obituary notes, his important books, incl. The Greater Medieval Houses of England and Wales, 1300-1500 (3 vols) & Seats of Power in Europe during the #HundredYearsWar, were written after early retirement from business. #castles @histodons
