Cut out the toile for #carosweddingjumpsuit from an old cotton bedsheet. I cut by projecting a PDF or vector image onto a cutting mat. It's a revelation: no more messing around with bits of paper! I edit in Inkscape or Affinity when I need to make alterations. #sewing #sewists

Hi sewing pattern designers? Please, please, please, LAYER YOUR PDFs. One size per layer. I've spent a whole evening manually deleting curves so that I can project one size of this thing instead of six sizes at once.

Btw, I think I'll blog #carosweddingjumpsuit process here. After meeting @amy and @cwebber I'm inspired to find more FOSS/crafting overlap! Where are my fellow #sewists?
