I remember when #IKnowMyFirstNameIsSteven came out but never saw it or followed the story, and I confused it with it ultimately being a hoax.
The true story is so much more bizarre and, yes, horrific.
It's a multifaceted history of a family, the #Stayners, the #vampiric nature of our #media, the lie that #MentalHealth care is shameful weakness, and the effects of trauma, direct and generational.
Sad and sobering.
