Whatever happens in the next few years, #Europe cannot rely on the #US to somehow get back to a pre #Trump society. Instead of worrying about the outcome, we should be taking the opportunity to rid ourselves of the #capitalist #fascism that's been spilling into Europe for 40 years. We understand socialist and communist ideology and must now create a long term relationship with #China. The US is the sinking ship that no #European wants to be on. #EU #SocialDemocrats #ReformEurope

Not that I'm frequently shocked by the institutional hostility towards the #poor and #housesless population by retail outlets, #target decided that underwear and socks need to be locked away. I don't normally go here, but I found myself here today. When I saw this, I almost laughed out loud at the brazen absurdity and malice of it all.
This is in the same vein as putting spikes on sidewalks under freeway overpasses, or denying someone access to a restroom who has no home. This is yet another perfect example of how the #capitalist class keeps the #classwar in place.
Nobody around me batted an eye when they saw these locked cases. No reaction or expression.
Just shopping with a zombified look in their eye, looking for whatever bargain they can find.
Just another day in corporate America. -
