Contrasting the highs and lows of surviving NYC's underbelly like few others, regardless of genre.Elevated by El-P's layered, lo-fi synths and swirly rhythms that blur the lines of experimental electronica.

Our #sotd is "Pigeon" by underground hip-hop legends Cannibal Ox. Released in 2001 and produced by El-P it features a classic Jaco Pastorius sample. Still sounds fresh.
