    Yesterday, my nephew and I took a train from Ottawa to Toronto. The trip is normally scheduled to be 4:18. Not terrible, but in the 21st century, twice as long as it should be.
    But, also because of our antiquated passenger rail system, there was a planned delay in our arrival that extended the length to 5:03. Except, we ran late (of course) and missed our intended reroute and were rerouted through Markham! Total trip time was 6:53!!!!

    OK so... there IS some kind of "High Frequency Rail" program or construction in the work?? They're seeking someone to build out the project.
