#Android needs a "soft block" feature for incoming calls. One that doesn't block the number, nor send it immediately to voicemail, but that simply ignores the call, and lets it eventually reach voicemail as though you didn't answer the phone.

That way those of us with horrible family members can simply pretend they don't exist without giving them the satisfaction of knowing they're blocked.
