@eibhear @ownohmanny Civil Partnership was introduced because politicians decided it would be an attack on marriage, contrary to the Constitution, to allow same-sex couples to marry.
After the marriage equality referendum, politicians decided that it would be an attack on marriage, contrary to the Constitution, to have an alternative to marriage available, and so: no more Civil Partnership.
