The only people coming to Labour's defence in this article are a Liz Cheney and a TERF, Labour will lose the next election like the Dems lost last year.
The sneering for the whole Left the current Labour Party has is exactly why they will lose, not everyone is a selfish bigot and will vote for selfish bigot parties.

I disagree - I think #labour are very focussed on winning the #nextGE - I worry that in doing so they are trying to micro-manage the selection of candidates which will not work

I understand the caution on grand promises .... but I see no reason in the informaton made public why #Broxtowe cannot choose the candidate they prefer, who did more or less in line with national trends in the last 2 GE

If there is a valid reason - let us know. If not, let them choose their candidate
