  1. Do you believe the bigots like Rosie Duffield who say that yesterday's ruling won't effect trans people at all.

Or do you believe the agony, fear and anger us Queers are in, not that you'll hear from us in the Media, as minorities go we're well behind the (right wing) Jews for representation, hell even Muslims have better representation in British Media, we Queers are only for entertainment and song, nothing serious clearly....

  2. The news today is endless punishments for Trans people, and the joy of the Bigots.

I am not British, I am nothing here.

I wonder how many trans people have suicided over this, will we ever know?

Do Rosie and Joanne care? They do not, they're just glad to have 'won'

  3. The only people coming to Labour's defence in this article are a Liz Cheney and a TERF, Labour will lose the next election like the Dems lost last year.
The sneering for the whole Left the current Labour Party has is exactly why they will lose, not everyone is a selfish bigot and will vote for selfish bigot parties.

  4. So long, Rosie. Sorry you didn't get thrown out of the party (as you so clearly wanted so you could get more attention and be a martyr) but we all have our crosses to bear. I'm sure it's all the transes' fault anyway, right?

  5. #RosieDuffield is saying Cardboard Boy has problems with women is as likely as she accepting #transgender women as women.

He has many, many faults, our beige coloured corrugated prime minister, but I don't think misogyny is one of them.

  6. If #RosieDuffield was so concerned about the #winterfuelallowance then why didn't she vote against it?

    @Lazarou makes this point

  7. #RosieDuffield has quit #Labour saying #Starmer's recent decisions: winter fuel payments to pensioners and the choice to keep the two child benefit cap was "cruel".

In her letter of resignation, she wrote: "Forcing a vote to make many older people iller and colder while you and your favourite colleagues enjoy free family trips to events most people would have to save hard for - why are you not showing even the slightest bit of embarrassment or remorse?"

  8. @hutchingsmusic lol.
It's ok though, she didn't vote on the Winter Fuel Payments so she's (unsurprisingly) talking shit.

  9. @Black_Flag this thing about the Fuel Allowance and Starmer being a grifter is just an excuse, she was fucking off anyway. Probably to Reform.

  10. If you're not acknowledging the bigotry and lies Rosie Duffield revels in when talking about her resignation today you ain't an ally and we can see you.

Minorities have memories a lot longer than the Majority has, we have to. We have to keep receipts. You won't believe us otherwise.

That woman is trash and for once the trash has taken itself out.

  11. CW: Transphobia, Rosie duffield

It’s Canterbury pride this weekend so naturally Rosie Duffield has chosen Sunday to launch her campaign at Westgate Hall, because she has the subtlety of a brick.

Information here on a protest. Fair warning, it sounds like she’s bringing in transphobes from London. x.com/ctwiththet/status/179877 #Canterbury #PrideMonth #transphobia #RosieDuffield #ukpolitics

Not a great week so far for trans people in the UK

On Monday, shadow minister for women and equalities Anneliese Dodds MP used an opinion column in the Guardian to announce Labour’s new stance on gender recognition reform, hugely weakened from the kind of reform they supported in Scotland last year: theguardian.com/commentisfree/

Indeed, Dodds had the gall to say that the Scottish Government’s reform bill – which was supported by most Labour MSPs and would have become law had Westminster not blocked it – was ‘cavalier’ and ‘more about picking a fight with Westminster than bringing about meaningful change’! Seriously?!

On Tuesday, ‘gender-critical’ ‘feminist’ Rosie Duffield MP unsurprisingly lent support to the new proposals, which she says are ‘going in the right direction’ for ‘biological women’: theguardian.com/politics/live/

And today (Wednesday), leader of the opposition Keir Starmer MP said:

‘Firstly, a woman is an adult female, so let’s clear that one up …

[You mean, adult female *human being*, or are female butterflies also women?]

‘We don’t think that self-identification is the right way forward. We’ve reflected on what happened in Scotland …

[Rather, what happened *to* Scotland, when the UK government blocked competent legislation without warning]

‘We’ve set out that we want to modernise the process, get rid of some of the indignities in the process, keep it a medical process.

[*Some* of the indignities. Nice /s]

‘We’ve always said, I’ve continued to say, and Sunday, when we completed our policy forum, allowed us to be clear that there should be safe places, safe spaces, for women, particularly in relation to violence against women and girls.’

    [So what?]

Starmer lacks the positive values and qualities of his predecessor

On trans rights as on so many other issues, he’d rather tread lightly for fear of actually being seen to *oppose* the Tory government’s horrific agenda
