Apparently East New York (then part of the town of New Lots) had an Irish section known as Blood Hollow. The German sections were known as Plunders Neck and Bona-Fettle (??!!!). Plunders Neck was a thing - can’t figure out the Bona-Fettle part. #Brooklyn #eastnewyork #brooklynhistory
