#ParkRun 14 today! Who would have ever imagined I'd have stuck it out for this long? First solo one today as Mrs Bread is busy. Did some strength training and a gym 5k in the week so not feeling quite so underprepared / doom and gloom as last week, pre-run.
I'm almost...... looking forward to it?....

Inevitably - now I've finished I feel practically superhuman. Fizzing with positive energy. Beaming with light & happiness. If only I could get this through bread-based foods I'd rule the world.
Beautiful morning. Great crowd. Always fantastically well organised.
Whilst I may not have beaten my PB, I managed to do my first EVER full run without stopping. Quite something for an overweight 40-something with a history of heart problems and nearly a leg off.

Done and home. First properly wet conditions. Rain, puddles, mud and gale force winds.
But.... I feel great. And I reckon I've come close to, if not beaten my PB.
