Full. Of. Win. πΊ π π₯
This evening's game in the #BGA online #Go league was close - I was a bit ahead, but not by much - when I finally spotted how to do a massive rip-off. My opponent had a group which had never looked quite right and I killed it after my opponent took away one of his own outside liberties (while making a one point reduction against me, but he didn't make the necessary follow-up) in the last few moves.

Alas you miss out on most of our incontrovertibly true and infallible words of wisdom in the post-game analysis because we did that on a video call instead of in text.
"Victory is mine" saith the Dave, because in that BGA online #go tournament game I made the penultimate of several blunders.
Playing a match in the #BritishGoAssociation online league. I am fully prepared with performance enhancing drugs, namely a pot of tea and some biscuits.
I have another #BritishGoAssociation online league game shortly, so time to make a pot of #tea.
Update: I lost, I can only assume that I didn't perform the Tea Ritual quite correctly and that the gods are therefore angry. It's definitely not because I played G17 instead of F10 in the middle game.

Huh, British Go Congress 2025 will be held in #Edinburgh. Lucky me, I might actually go.
:sad face emoji: lost my last game in the #BGA online league, but 5/6 means I finish at the top of my division anyway. Yay! #go #weiqi #baduk #BritishGoAssociation
Woo! Now on 5 wins out of 5 in this season of the #BGA online #go league. Just one game left to play. This last one was weird, with both of us making some absolute howlers and ending up with a very close result. I think we made #AIsensei just bury its robo-head in its hands and weep when it reviewed the game. #weiqi #baduk #BritishGoAssociation
Time for another round of the #BritishGoAssociation online league. Time for another VICTORY! And now time for some celebratory #wine! #go #baduk #weiqi
Completely forgot about this iteration of the #BritishGoAssociation's online tournament, and found out a few days ago that I have three games to play by the end of this week. Scheduled them all for today and won the first one despite a couple of "well that was stupid of me" moments immediately after taking my turn. #go #weiqi #baduk #BGA
