Started reading a new book today!
The Age of Extremes
Eric Hobsbawm
I'm surprisingly reading fast these recent weeks. My TBR queue is continuously growing though, and I don't expect to clear it out until end of the year.

Yesterday I read Heart of Darkness, by Joseph Conrad, in one sitting. It was a very damn good read.
Granted I've only read a handful of classics, but this is easily my favorite of the bunch.
It also solves one (subjective?) problem I have with novels in general, in that they can feel too long-winded a lot of times. Heart of Darkness is a novella, and despite the length, manages to tell a complex story in a fairly fast-paced narrative.
I'm super satisfied with it. Highly recommended!

Today I finally chanced upon a cheap copy of *Joseph Conrad's* Heart of Darkness. And in fairly good condition too. Nice.

It keeps prefacing claims with "some scholars" and "some experts" without either identifying them or citing actual sources. Bruh. #bookstodon #bookwormph #worldBookDay

This should've been yesterday during World Book Day. But now I finally got to bring my top 3 books out once again.
It's been years since I've read these, but even after hundreds of other books read these are still my all-time favorites.
The King's Two Bodies
Ernst Kantorowicz
The Sleepwalkers
Christopher Clark
The Dark Valley
Piers Brendon

Happy World Book Day!
Here's a stack of some of my favorite books. I will try to talk about them in the future.
But in general, in this account I will be posting my thoughts on books I'm reading and have read. They can be rather rough and incoherent. But to me, what matters is I get to express myself more often.
Cheers!
