One of my favorite books on the Middle Ages:

Medieval Christianity
Kevin Madigan

I read this back in 2020. Obviously from the title it's focused heavily on the Church, though by no means I would consider it a "religious" history. The Church is simply the singular central institution that permeated Europe in medieval period, so the story of Christianity is largely also the story of Europe and its people.

This should've been yesterday during World Book Day. But now I finally got to bring my top 3 books out once again.

It's been years since I've read these, but even after hundreds of other books read these are still my all-time favorites.

But in general, in this account I will be posting my thoughts on books I'm reading and have read. They can be rather rough and incoherent. But to me, what matters is I get to express myself more often.
