Got back to U-Boot after 2 years (!!)
Got it on my first try, after doing the top out a couple of times.
Then I tried Atom-U-boot (7a+), which I couldn't get started on. The next day we went back and I got it after only a few tries!Anyway, this is u-boot. The video is sped up (x2) for the traverse.

Во Flutter экран связан с жизненным циклом виджета: пользователь может вернуться назад, открыть другую вкладку или свернуть приложение, после чего состояние экрана уже будет уничтожено. При этом асинхронная операция может продолжать выполняться: сетевой запрос, обработка данных или отложенный callback не завершаются мгновенно. Основная сложность заключается в том, что после ожидания состояние приложения может измениться: экран мог быть закрыт, пользователь мог ввести новый поисковый запрос, а активная вкладка — смениться. Если после этого без дополнительных проверок обновить состояние или выполнить действие с интерфейсом, приложение может показать устаревшие данные, вызвать лишнюю перерисовку или получить ошибку при обращении к уже неактуальному экрану. В этой статье рассматриваются практические сценарии, которые часто встречаются в обычных Flutter-приложениях: загрузка данных, поиск, работа с подписками и обновление интерфейса после асинхронной операции.

Good to see the NDP in second with 18.9% of the vote in one of the by-elections last night.
The polarization between the Bloc and Liberals in Terrebonne is pretty stunning but at least there was a clear winner this time! The CPC got just 3% and the other three barely added up to 1% there!
The Toronto ridings were at least a little more spread out, but both remain solid Liberal seats with more than 60% of the vote.
I don’t like how the Liberals gained their majority, a first in Canadian history… but that’s the hand we are dealt. Time to work at it.

Начиная писать Flutter-приложение, для стейт-менеджмента часто хватает простого setState или простого решения, по типу BLoC/Cubit без излишеств. Но с течением жизни проекта ваши блоки могут начать превращаться в god objects. Внутри хендлеров могут находиться и запросы в сервисы, и валидация, и эмиттеры состояния, а для крупной страницы точно одним ивентом не обойдешься. В таких условиях разработка сильно затрудняется, становится сложно поддерживать и масштабировать проект, снижается тестируемость. Это не субъективный опыт — строгая разделенная архитектура повышает гибкость, переиспользуемость и тестируемость кода. BLoC сам по себе — паттерн с отличной дисциплиной потока данных и строгим отделением бизнес‑логики от UI, но стоит немного расслабиться, и он разрастается до god объекта. Цель этой статьи — продемонстрировать, как вынесение бизнес логики в use-cases может помочь вернуть контроль над ViewModel слоем. Это не попытка навязать единственный вариант реализации, а материал про технический компромисс, подтвержденный цифрами и опытом.

CBC reporting that Elizabeth May has said she will be voting for the budget tonight. Which means the Liberals only need one more vote for it to pass, or for two MPs to abstain.
Seems unlikely we will have an election from this budget vote... but you never know!

This is a really unexpected flash! I'd seen a few people struggle, especially on the top section (the one I end up campusing).
I almost swung off right before that fun 360 (I didn't really need to do that, but was easier than to wait to wind back the other way) -
The #Liberals have 169 seats, the Conservatives 144, the Bloc 22, the NDP 7 and the Greens 1. That means that if the budget fails to pass, the #CPC, the #Bloc and the #NDP must all vote against it.
I continue to expect most of the NDP members (the party least ready for an election) not to vote against, either abstaining or absent. But possibly the Liberals will be so maladroit as to unite the opposition parties to vote against, or so devious as to engineer their own fall.

It's been a long time since I last posted, but I have been climbing regularly.
This new problem at my local gym has a really weird sequence. I haven't sent it, but I guess a few more tried and I'll manage to stick the top.
