#Cinebook caught up with the English editions of Blake & Mortimer with the volume 30: Signed: Olrik.
That leaves only the last volume listed, which was released last year. They seem to have caught up with the numbering as well.
Even though Cinebook usually publishes all of the volumes of such series, their numbering is a mess and don't follow any of the originals. Maybe something to do with previous English editions, although it escapes me why they'd care at all.

Vi har mærkelige juleplaner, så vi åbnede gaver i weekenden. Jeg fik bl.a. det seneste #YokoTsuno album - nr. 31 i serien af #RogerLeloup, der har været omkring 92 da albummet blev udgivet.
Kort fortalt handler serien om elektronikingeniøren Yoko, der er datter af en kinesisk mor og en japansk far. Det er sci-fi med robotter, humanoide rumvæsner og tidsmaskiner med masser af detaljer i tegningerne.
Desværre er det gået ned af bakke for den gode Leloup, og tegningerne bærer præg af at pennen ikke bliver ført med helt samme præcision som den gjorde engang. Jeg er vild med serien, men nogle af de seneste tegninger - specielt ansigterne af de hoverpersoner jeg har fulgt siden jeg var helt lille - er så dårlige at det er hjerteskærende at læse. Jeg er nået en tredjedel ind, og jeg kan mærke at jeg virkelig skal tage tilløb til at læse færdigt.
Bare han dog vil give stafetten videre til næste generation, lidt på samme måde som man har gjort med #BlakeAndMortimer.

While #streaming services are admittedly convenient, some things just aren't available on them. One of those things is the adventures of #BlakeAndMortimer, a comic book and animation series loved by both me and my late father. Today I finished ripping and encoding old dusty DVDs with all thirteen episodes, so I can enjoy them on #Jellyfin! 🙂

39. El arte de la guerra (José-Louis Bocquet, Jean-Luc Fromental, Floc’H). Es un tomo que deja con un sabor de boca un tanto extraño. Es un ejercicio de nostalgia que da la sensación de querer impersonar un tomo clásico de la línea clara. El guión cumple con todos los tropos lo cual no sé hasta qué punto es bueno o malo porque lo que en los 60 podría haber pasado con un interesante tebeo de aventuras a los ojos de un lector actual puede pecar de simple o, al menos, de resultar demasiado familiar o previsible. Pero lo que más me ha sacado es el dibujo. Es una línea clara tan superlativa y exagerada que me llega a resultar artificiosa. Tiene su punto como revival de la época gloriosa de la línea clara, pero no me termina de convencer como cómic moderno.

Growing up in western Europe in the late 70s, I was lucky enough to have a dad with a passion for Franco-Belgian comics. I was raised on a healthy diet of #Tintin, #BlakeAndMortimer, #Valerian and Laureline and of course Roger Leloup's magnificent sci-fi saga masterpiece about the Chinese/Japanese electrical engineer #YokoTsuno.
