  1. Of course, a pitcher and strainer is a fine way to make a larger batch of Longjing/Dragonwell green tea. I sometimes use a press pot (just don't use one you've used for coffee). Longjing/Dragonwell green tea from Bitterleaf teas.

  2. One common way to drink Chinese green tea, especially Dragonwell/Longjing, is to simply put the dry tea leaves in a tall glass, add water, (typically 185F/85C), then wait for the buds to drop to the bottom of the glass. As you drink down the tea throughout the day, add more warm water to the glass. It does require more patience than, say, gong fu brewing, but it also teaches a lesson. Plus, the dancing leaves are pretty. This is Longjing/Dragonwell from Bitterleaf Teas.

  3. A heat wave means I've switched to green tea. Finishing up the last couple doses of this tin if "Hulk" Yunnan green tea from Bitter Leaf Teas.

  4. Continuing to drink down this slightly vintage (2023) green tea from Bitterleaf Teas. "Hulk" is a one bud, one leaf, early spring Simao Yunnan tea rolled in "snail" shape. Easy drinking.

  5. Yunnan (Simao) First Flush green tea from Bitterleaf Tea. According to Bitterleaf, this is a classic green Yunnan tea, the sort you might want to thermos or Grandpa brew to get you through your day. Mild flavor, slight astringency, pleasant lingering scent.

  6. Been hitting the W2T a little hard, so switched things up today. 2019 Bitter End Laomane raw puerh from Bitterleafteas. Surprisingly complex and enjoyable for such a young tea.
