The retreat is happening again this coming January. If you’re a BIPOC writer, I recommend it. Some scholarships are available. rootswoundswords.org/applicati #BIPOCWriters #BIPOCAuthors #WritingCommunity #WritingRetreat

  17. Hey fellow writers,

I have a question: do you know of any residencies you can recommend? I’m interested in applying for any that will offer support for multi-genre writers such as myself. Thank you for your help & references in advance.

  18. Just finished Francesca Padilla’s “What’s Coming to Me.” I hope on everything this book gets its own Netflix series. #books #bipocbooks #bipocauthors #authors #yanovel

  19. And furthermore! The vast majority of YA characters written by older authors read like old geezer characters anyway. Stop pretending you are successfully writing 16 year olds just so you can sell in a more lucrative genre. We noticed. 🤣😅 #bookstodon #blackbookstodon #amwriting #yabooks #bipocauthors #indieauthors #writewithmichael #dybpublishing
