  4. Sometimes you wonder if it’s the process or preparation that is making such a difference on your farm. I believe it is the combination of both that enlivens biodynamics. craigcamp.com/journal/2023/6/5 #biodynamicwine #biodynamic #biodynamicfarming #regenerativeagriculture

  5. We always discuss farming and winemaking, but little is said about sales. Sales should not be ignored because to be green, you have to make a profit. With no margin, there is no mission. craigcamp.com/journal/2023/5/2 #biodynamicwine #biodynamic #biodynamicfarming #regenerativeagriculture

  6. Each growing season has its unique characteristics, so by definition, naturally grown produce will have its distinctive traits each harvest. This is where the two concepts of winemaking diverge. One chooses an assembly line mentality, while the other chooses nature. craigcamp.com/journal/2023/4/2 #biodynamicwine #biodynamic #biodynamicfarming #podcast

  7. "It requires the courage of your convictions to take Mother Nature’s ride. The results of these choices are predictable. One gives you solid commercial-grade beverage alcohol — the other gives you wine."

  8. However, Troon Vineyards acknowledges that it is a small piece of the puzzle. “What we do on our 100-acre farm will not change the world unless we convince other farmers and winemakers to adopt that same mission,” says Craig Camp, General Manager at Troon Vineyards. “Also, we must convince wine consumers that wine crafted with quality, place, and planet in mind is worth the search.” thewinechef.com/blog/celebrati #biodynamicwine #biodynamic #biodynamicfarming #regenerativeagriculture

  9. Have you heard about #BiodynamicFarming? It emphasises the use of locally available raw material, particularly compost made from animal dung, horns, herbs, and other raw materials, with the goal of achieving soil self-sustainability.

  10. Coming soon to a new Troon Vineyard label this spring - a dandelion by Oregon artist Janet Ekholm. These flower labels tell the story of our Biodynamic Regenerative Organic Certified farming at Troon Vineyard as we grow these botanicals to make natural applications for our farm. Instead of chemicals, we make teas and ferments from these plants to bring health and energy to our plants. #biodynamicwine #biodynamic #biodynamicfarming #regenerativeagriculture

  11. “I don’t think any of us has done an adequate job of trying to explain the difference,” says Craig Camp, general manager of Troon Vineyard in Oregon’s Rogue Valley. Troon is certified organic and biodynamic, and its bottles are often considered natural, but Camp tends not to describe them that way. “Natural wine is a problematic term,” he says, noting the lack of oversight and an internationally agreed-upon definition. thrillist.com/drink/nation/wha #biodynamicwine #biodynamic #biodynamicfarming #regenerativeagriculture

  12. CW: Australian election (preferences)

These are three seperate parties: #SustainableAustralia, CitizensParty, and IMOP. However one would only need to contact IMOP via their highly ethical website, to make those suggestions you've outlined.

While 'organic' on its own, is more of a '#health focus' than '#sustainability focus', when we start to look at #biodynamicFarming and regenerative practices, and #permaculture, which they seem to, its a more holistic approach.

    Yes, a major 5G issue, that. 👍
