I hope #1666Amsterdam becomes a successful game, and I hope Ubisoft gets bought by #Tencent so hard that the put the Yves family into laogai camp until #BGE2 comes out.

Breaking news from 2008: `Beyond Good & Evil 2` is, incredibly, still a thing! Ubisoft is actually hiring for it. I'm starting to think this game will be finished just in time for humanity's intergalactic space opera debut.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 has apparently taken the record from DUKE NUKEM FOREVER for videogame that's been in development for the longest time. 😖
Such a shame. I loved the first one, but as more of the second was shown off it seemed like the team was aiming for a procedurally-generated mega-metropolis simulator. Not sure that can capture the heart of the first.
