She acknowledged it and went to take her second daily dose of Adderall, thankful to live in a world where medicine producers never just decided it was okay to be short on something people need to function. She felt happy to be in a timeline where she could focus for more than five minutes rather than one of the ones where she would be an unmedicated mess crying in a corner when she was supposed to be working.
