The Monocacy Creek Park waterfall on a bright May afternoon. The park's stone architecture is prominently on display in the form of pillars, stairs and a pair of pavilions which bracket the waterfall.

Yesterday was #CasimirPulaskiDay. Writing his chapter was one of my favorite parts of authoring #NamingGotham Of course I had to include the (admittedly tedious) Longfellow poem about Pulaski's time in my hometown #BethlehemPA. #LehighValley folks, think of this next time you drive the #PulaskiSkyway or run across the Pulaksi bridge during the #NYC marathon. #histodon
p.s. Pulaski was almost definitely intersex.

Green rules the day inside Bethlehem's Monocacy Park on a May morning. Fresh puddles from recent rainfall dot the macadam pathways as lush plant life begins to consume the park after a long cold winter. The waterfall can be seen in the near distance as it drops into Monocacy Creek.

Kind of tired today, so I'm gonna pull one out of the archives. Not much energy to work on something new tonight.

The Bethlehem SteelStacks under stormy skies. Remnants of the once great Bethlehem Steel.

The arch is a sculpture, which lights on fire. The area is now used to host small concerts, festivals, events, etc. They have some nice lighting on the stacks at night as well.

I think I've run this image through my post routine about 3 times now and I'm still not happy with it. Ever have one of those stubborn images where it never feels right?

This is the waterfall at Monocacy Park in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, bracketed by two very old stone pavilions. This is an amazingly photogenic park and I need to visit it way more often.
