I'm a big fan of #Blender, I've been a user for so many years. I've seen it evolve from NaN to this immensely popular and community supported project.
But it (still) has huge issues in terms of community. And their list of speakers for #BConf19 shows it pretty badly: https://conference.blender.org/2019/speakers
#BConf, instead of growing in numbers, could you focus on growing diversity? Thank you.

2 good pres. today #bconf talked about the Video Sequence Editor in #b3d #blender : specifically pointing the ability to use it to assemble and edit your entire project. By combining scenes, you can quickly jump from edit to scene, and even using that to block then replace fully done shots along the work. You can even work with linked scenes edited on a network by other people !
