@jonny I used a technique called "locality sensitive hashing" as a part of my PhD work to group #BayesianNetworks using their Fiedler vectors. (Spoiler: I ignored the "A" in the DAGs, because of the complex values in the eigendecomposition.) Maybe this would be of interest:
